So I went to look at new beds, started with Sleep Number and can't even come close to affording that!!! Crazy expensive! So now I am looking into a Beauty Rest that is semi-firm. Does anyone have this bed, or another bed that is working well for you with MS?
Sleep is more important than food. We took out a loan and got a temperpedic. Wouldn't trade it for the world. I have one of their pillows and I got a triangle to put under my knees. I was fitted at Relax the Back store. I had spent so much money on pillows, I wasn't going to waste another cent. A lot of stores carry these mattresses now and they offer payment plans with no interest. Something to think about.
I have a firm Temperapedic. I LOVE it. Head of bed and feet can raise or lower. Very comfortable and cushions all the sore achy parts. But..they are expensive and if you do get one be sure to put a mattress cover on it. I did and I've had mine 6 years. My friend didn't and hers has a bad oder to it when it's hot in summer. So don't know if I've helped or confused you more
I could not afford a new mattress. What I did and still do- Those camping air mattresses. Cheap too. So it does not slip off my bed I put one of those waffle things you put under a throw rug. I put between my mattress and the air mattress and put my mattress pad on gthe air mattress. Wonderful.
I have a Tempur pedic and worth every penny. I think tempurpedic bought out another brand as well that may be cheaper. Ask an associate it may be beautirest.
I have a beauty rest. I love it!
