Order Of Visit And MRI

Order Of Visit And MRI

I have a regular 6 month visit to Neurologist tomorrow. I suspect MRI is to follow shortly after, in a few weeks. Either way is fine for me, I have no complaints with my care, but do many of you see the Dr first and then get the MRI? Kind of seems backwards to me. Or is that typical with others as well?

I saw the doctor first, who checked me out and did a nerve conduction test before he ordered the MRI's.

I'm glad you're doing ok. I see s bunch of us have had MRIs, I guess that's become standard procedure. You'd think that'd find something cheaper.😏

I have a one year checkup tmr with my neurologist. I already had an MRI done a few weeks ago. At least this way we can discuss the findings, etc. I am stable with no new lesions which I am happy to report.

Basically I don't know as the system over here is different to yours and I haven't seen a neurologist more than 4 years and only 3 before that and I have had 1 MRI and that was 19 years ago.

I see the doctor then MRI usually. She always explains it, usually over the phone if there's no changes. There haven't been any changes in the last 2 MRIs πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹
