Is anyone taking, or has taken or know someone that has taken LOW DOSE NALTREXONE...and if so, what is the experience with it?
I've been on LDN since 12/12. It has been remarkable. I can now walk without a cane or walker. I can write legibly, and do many things I could not do before LDN. I won't go without it.
It is good to work with a doctor who can tailor it to you. I get mine from a doctor at Manhattan Integrative Medicine Dr. Borenstein. He prescribes it over the phone 2122622412, try him
Amen!! Same here!! LDN has done WOPNDERS for me! - Measured and confirmed by my MS Dr. - so NOT my imagination or "placebo effect"! :-)
Hi Rachels22--I have been on LDN since November and I must be part mouse because I have had great results with it! Before starting LDN I was beginning to have spasticity in my legs, hands and feet ---they are practically gone now. I have R/R and have been pretty symptom free since my initial diagnosis 3 years ago. You will need to find a compounding pharmacy--to read more about it there is a book: The Promise of Low Dose Naltrexone Therapy by Elaine Moore--it has more information than you might need--but there are really no side effects, so you try it, it either works or not--but you do build up to a dosage (which I can't remember right now--I just added a pill)
@A MyMSTeam Member - still on LDN. 3.5 mg daily. It was prescribed by my neurologist. My latest MRI had no changes!
