Well, it's been 6 months since my RRMS diagnosis. Had a new set of MRI's to see if the Avonex is working but my Neuro personally called me last night to tell me they found at least 3 new lesions. I see my neuro on Tuesday...does anybody think I could have secondary progressive?

It could just be the wrong med, or it might take it longer to work. I was on Copaxone for 9 months until I noticed my symptoms slowing down, and for my lesions to remain stable ! Good luck!!

Thanks again, everyone-it's been 6 days since I filled out the paperwork- I'm already in Biogen's system because I use Avonex...so far no word!

From what I have leaned, it has the least amount of side effects of any medication available. Good luck yourself!
