Is Lower Back Pain A Common Symptom Of MS?
The past few years, I've noticed that I can no longer help my husband out in the yard without feeling later like I've pulled a muscle in my lower back. Yesterday, I was simply taking it easy at home and got up from the couch and my lower back was sore like I had been outside pulling weeds all day. I've had MRIs done on my brain and am aware of the lesions that are there, but I don't know if this lower back pain can be caused by lesions on the spine or are somehow otherwise MS-related.

I have chronic lower back muscle spasms and knots. Pretty much tried everything. My MRI of my spine is fine. It's just there and has been since 09.
In the last 6 months I have two relapses and now have major back pain. If I am carrying something a little to heavy the back starts hurting. If I stand for to long a period of time(5-10 minutes) the back starts to hurt. Most of this is in my lower back and hips but sometimes I het it right in the center at shoulder blade height.
I've had this MS Dr say MRI shows some curvature of lower spinemaybe
only thing seems help is ice pak
