MS x 1-2 yrs, on meds 1.5 yrs, MRI shows healing but regularly have symptoms. tingling, numbness, visual issues, lack of balance, stumbling, speech issues, difficulty finding correct words or names of people. Is this just life with MS?

I understand this too. I believe the doc was basically stating that there were no new "bright" areas on this MRI and that the old ones were smaller compare to last year. Thanks for the input.

I don't believe any medication will cure your symptoms. In most cases the damage is done. The drugs are supposed to help prevent future relapses, but with an efficacy rate of 30%.

thanks to all the answers. I have a much better grasp on what is "normal" day (if one exhists) with life and MS! Its an adventure for sure but I tell myself and anyone else who says "Oh I am so sorry" MS comes up in conversation, that at least its not terminal cancer! It always can be worse and I am thankful everyday that I am walking and not holding my two 10 yr old boys up in their everyday life! I want them to have as carefree child hood as possible! thanks again to all who responded!

I have symptoms everyday- just depends on the degree. I'm on a daily MS med.
