Do you mean neuropsychological testing? I've had that done. It is long - close to 4 hours, but isn't horrific. There was an older posting about this very same subject. It seemed a lot of people didn't like the PhD giving them the test. I didn't have a problem with mine. I must say it was the best thing I've ever done for myself. I finally had proof that I wasn't going crazy. :)
Basically I did a lot of mini "tests" that included testing of my verbal and non-verbal memory, word recall, attention, processing speed, etc. I was also tested for motor function. Just make sure to dress comfortably and eat before you go. Good luck.
@Lynn13. I had that done a long time ago. I only remember it being long like Lynn said.
Oh, I got mixed up on names. LOL
Mine was all done on the computer.
Good luck @chriscole!
thanks Lynn - when they call to schedule - I'll check that it is indeed neuropsychological. That would be my assumption. I read the older postings too - noticed that some people had testers that got irritated with them - unacceptable!! and pretty unprofessional... I'm looking for the same answers you were - need that same proof. Will let you know how it goes. thanks again!
