Wondering if any of y'all ever experience pressure in your head that feels like your brain is swollen.. It's not a normal headache or even migraine.. Honestly feels like swelling.. I have several new lesions & I know that equals inflammation.. I've just never had this particular feeling before.. Anybody else??

I've had what you just descibed over the last 10 years. The days I don't have this pressure are gifts.

yes, since my left side of my face has had this shocking, burning, terrible pain, I have also had this headache that doesn't feel like a regular headache. It feels like a pressure, swollen, constant headache. And since this morning, now the left side of my neck has joined in to the mix.

I've had a headache that is constant 24/7 365 and is always between a 5 and a 10 on the pain scale this has been going on for more than 5 yrs. The sensation feels like my head is sort of exploding it starts from my temples and runs back to the base of my neck. Sometimes it feels like it's swollen then some times it feels like pressure and other times it's just hard to explain. I've tried different meds and to be honest I cn't remember which ones I tried, no OTC meds work I had nerve block injections done on the back of my neck/base of my head also had nerve block injections in between 3 vertabre on my spine to no avail. I've given up basically although my Neurologist said that a last resort would be BOTOX which I want to try but after getting a price for BOTOX for my headache and muscle spasticity I can't afford it even after insurance.
