Okay, this is a weird question and not a side effect that would be reported in the tysabri medical info but I am curious if any other tysabri users experienced this. After going on tysabri six months ago, my fingernails and hair are growing like crazy. And not only that, my fingernails are super strong. I can cut them on Monday and they are grown out by the following Monday. I have a huge head of hair that gets bigger all the time. My husband has even remarked on this. Very weird.
I have noticed the same thing with hair and nails I am on vit d have been for years and it has never made my hair and nails grow so I am saying tysabri
I have had 51 infusions of Tysabri and my nails have been so brittle and short and weak and so I started this awesome vitaminand now my nails and thick and strong. But you know, you just never know. These meds do different things to different people so I dont think anyone can tell you it CAN'T happen...
You can only help yourself, they are inexpensive, very important for MSers to take, and it's hard to take too much.
I am not taking vitamin d. I asked my neurologist if I should be taking vitamin d and he said my internist should make that decision. I haven't been to see my internist ( I know I should). So, not the vitamins d ( that said, I just bought a bottle and will start taking it)
