I called 1-800-GIVE LIFE and was told it is ok to donate with MS. If the location has any questions they can call that number to make sure.

When I asked, I was told I couldn't anymore. Which was fine, but then I realized I couldn't be an organ donor either, so I was disappointed in that. Donating my body to science though--I wont need it, and maybe will do some good.

I wondered the same thing. I used to donate blood, platelets and was on the National Bone Marrow Registry. I was sad to learn I could no longer do these things.

When I had both my knees replaced at the same time seven years ago I had to give blood, two pints over a month, for the possible need in surgery. I asked the blood bank lady about donating and she said it was ok. You can't do it a lot because it can deplete your system but you can donate even with MS. They don't consider that a threat to others.
