Does anyone have spasicity in their legs that is making walking or exercise difficult? If so, how are you treating it? My neuro wants to put me on the baclofen pump but I would rather not have any more drugs in my system. Just wondering if anyone has any stretching or low impact exercise options that can help with leg spasicity.

I have bad spasms and walk till my legs are too stiff to walk, which is asually an hour.
A really hot 25 min.shower, cool the water down just enough, not so cool that you get cold and tense, just enough coolness on your head to keep the brain cool.
Then stretches.
Next, I have some medical marihuana, the strain for spasms. Then call it a night.
What ever you do. Don't be discouraged and stop walking. Walk on my friend!

@guanjoevSo glad for your question, and grateful for information given. I have an appointment next week with a M/D p/t to discuss Botox injections. I have spasticity in both legs & arms.

@A MyMSTeam Member I have spasticity in my left leg and every 3 months I'm going for Botox injections and it is working. I also stretch and do some PT exercises but the Botox is my savior for the spasticity.
