A LOT of us here have the problems swallowing. Check out the link I've posted here.

Then, watch these videos for better understanding why, and the suggestions to help overcome this.

The reflux and heartburn may or may not be realated to the MS. You can get prescriptions to help with the heartburn...or buy OTC ones like Prevacid, etc. I go for the prescription since the insurance pays a good part and they're cheaper for me. LOL

Yes. I'm with you.
I'm on Prescription for heartburn.
Swallowing I find cut food smaller. Concentrate on chewing a bit longer and swallow smaller pieces. Works for me. So far. But I know as it gets worse there are other treatments out there. Best of luck.

Emphatically YES!! I am on a generic for Previcid because I have acid reflux so bad. I also have a hard time swallowing, especially spaghetti noodles. My throat at this moment feels like it is shrinking, closing in. I attributed this feeling to my thyroid surgery back in 2008, but it hasn't gotten any better. I often go into coughing spells because I've inhaled crumbs. It's awful.

I am also taking a prescription called ranitadine or generic zantac which seems to help with keeping the heartburn from starting
