Hi Everyone: As far as I can tell I & I alone wear the Beautiful MS Crown. But since my Mom was adopted...who knows what is going on in her parental family. The one thing I know for certain is that my Mom suffered all her life from Rheumatoid Arthritis. So far I've never heard that our two diseases are related. I hope that my two sisters, their children & grandchildren Do Not haver MS in their systems.
I'm a very selfish person & I want my MS all to myself. I don't want to share it with any family members....they all know this. If one of them gets MS,,,I'll be really pissed off. My MS is Mine, I don't want to share it, It makes me so very special, I post warnings to my family telling them:
MS = MYSELF MS = MATURE SEXUALLY MS = MASTER OF SELF
MS = MAJESTIC SURPRISES MS + MULTIPLE SENSES
MS = MANY SCREAMS MS = MY SELFISNESS
MS = MY SATISFACTION MS = MULTIPLE SENSATIONS
Please MS'ers feel free to add on other things that MS equals.
BIG, HUGH HAPPINESS HUGS
I do think there is something to be said about auto immune diseases in families. I have a cousin with fibromyalgia and either lupus or rheumatoid arthritis. All on the same side as mentioned previously
you are special, I am special too!
Same here....no one in my family has MS but me....I am the special one :)
My daughter has researched MS through various site (i.e. Harvard medical university)and found that research is proving that though MS is not herititary, the susceptibility to environmental triggers of the decease is. Question is, what environmental triggers have we been exposed to? According to a recent report on Fox news, researchers believe they may have identified a bacteria that can get past the brain's membrane shield and then attack the mylan shafts (I'm paraphrasing and explaining in laymen terms (only kind I know)). Where does this bacteria come from and how it is ingested is still unknown (though contaminated food is suspected). Though the first in my family to be diagnosed with MS, my family is riddled with cases of RA, various types of arthritis, fibromyalgia, and thyroid problems.
