I got MS when I was 7 years old and was officially diagnosed age 11. I do think my immunity system is stronger than others in some ways but in other's I think it weaker when I get sick with let's say the flu I'm usually on my deathbed and it takes week for me to recover.
I had bells Palsy at age 12. Can't close left eye or move mouth to smile etc on left side. It never got better. It's gotten worse as I've gotten older. Doctors have told me a small number of people don't fully recover. I was one of the lucky few. They do think a virus causes bells. If I remember correctly it's epstein bar virus.
I had rheumatic fever at age 12, and also have been pretty healthy other wise. Since my diagnosis I have wondered if the rheumatic fever had any bearing on my 'S.
Tessa, I had Scarlet Fever at age 5, Mono at age 12 and 14, Bells Palsy at age 19
Dani Are you talking about Epstein–Barr virus ?
Because that has been talked about with MS but other things as well and most everyone has had it at some point in their life
