Hi. Anyone else have issues with low D. I have been on the prescription one a few times and have in between taken a very good brand with a 5,000 dose. My nurse said it could be an absorbtion issue. I guess I need to go back to my Naturalpath doc.

I heard somewhere that it should be taken just after a meal to help with absorption. Wonder if it is true or not.

It has been determined that many MS people have problems absorbing vitamin D properly.
MS people should have a blood test to determine Vitamin D -25(OH)D level twice a year: in mid April and mid October. Depending the test result one should adjust the supplementation level for next 6 months. Because I cannot attach pictures to posts or enter the table here, I will send you the picture of the table by message.
