Since it has been a while since I posted this question, I have been diagnosis with RRMS. So this QUESTION Is no longer valid. Has anyone gone through a sleep study for suspicion of narcolepsy? It seems I have both fatigue and tiredness, but assumed these symptoms are from the possibility that I have MS.

I was diagnosed this past December with RRMS. Though it was possible for a few years that my health problems were MS, I still cried when I got the diagnosis, yet relieved to finally have an answer.

The diagnosis of MS is quantifiable and credible, no if's or maybes. You have to have two active lesions at least 2 months apart, your spinal fluid is checked for whatchamacallit (can't remember the accurate name) numbers, etc. It is a method of diagnosis that can be repeated and duplicated.

You may display symptoms similar to those of a patient with MS, but your symptoms don't mean a thing when it comes to diagnosis - the quantifiable (means it can be repeated) testing determines the diagnosis.
