Low B12 levels with MS is it always present or only some times? I heard several story's that had low B12 levels.

I take weekly B12 injections and have since my diagnosis in Dec. 2009

my daughter and I suffer from low B-12. her issue began after her frist IV steroid treatment as steroids take B-12 out of the system very rapidly. We both have monthly injections of B-12. Not sure if you take or have taken steroids but if so, perhaps a good place to begin.

I take b12 injections monthly and vitamin d daily both were low

Gee B12 is one of the first things I was tested for after my one and only MRI. Lack of B12 they said could cause many of the things going on with my body..10 years now..and I use 4000 iu of D..my Chiropractor suggested that long before I could see a Neurologist.

Not me B12 was fine my D level was very very low. I take 5,000 iu D per day now.
