I am familiar with PML. what are the risks of going to Tysabri with the jc virus? Had anyone experienced this and survived without brain problems?

I've been on Tysabri for 7 years now. Just had another JC test a month ago and my index value came in at 0.45. My Dr. says there has never been a PML case of anyone having under 0.9 and Biogen recommends no one should take if .06 or higher. Even at that, there are still people with a value of 1.5 taking Tysabri. It is just your risk becomes much higher to contracting PML.

Having a 0.45 my Dr. orders blood work every 3 months, and MRI every 8 months. Just to make sure.
