I would keep going to nuero even if each one is a different doctor each time until one of them does an mri. When I was first going through getting a diagnosis my very first nuero said my symptoms were from being fat. That's exactly what he said. Well I was fat from being on steroids so much. No one could figure out what was wrong and steroids were the answer for everything. It took me 10 nuero doctors before one actually listened to me. Even though I had no lesions on the brain or spine he insisted doing a spinal tap and low and behold almost no myelin. My symptoms and low myelin were enough for him to give me my diagnosis. So keep at it. It's frustrating but you will eventually find a doctor willing to do his job.

Most of my leisions are spinal no problem in brain. Go to neuro ms specialist. I didn't have to have a spinal tap just MRI they should do both brain and spine. Good luck keep trying till you find a neuro who will help you.

Yes, you should ask (demand) to have an MRI on your cervical spine. I only had one lesion on my brain. My cervical spine had many lesions which led to my dx of MS

I have several along the spine. My first developed around C4-6 in fact. They should do cervical & thoracic. Also a lumbar puncture.

My MRI on my brain came back "inconclusive" of ms...but luckily my neuro ordered the one of the spine..with contrast, and I lit up like a christmas tree, keep fighting until you get your answers
