Has anyone ever had experience with, just hating the people you are around and the world you live in and just want to leave and make a new identity. i am not depressed at all, I don't know what makes me this way. Never would I hate my kids or grand kids , but my husband now is a different story or friends. Idk I just can not deal with them anymore.

My husband does not support me or care about me. This month will make two years that I have survived breast cancer. He doesn't care he probably wishes I would have died. He won't leave me because he is comfortable here and he feels sorry for me. I am a strong woman, I have survived a cheating husband, two seriously abusive marriages and now wasted 14 years with someone that does not love me. I may hurt all the time and be limited but I am not in a chair, cain, or dead so I will go on. It just really makes me mad that now that I am 54 my body is disfigured I could never have a relationship with someone who truly loved me. I wouldn't even try.

Oh I have wanted to run far and as fast as I can. The only thing that has kept me from doing this is my grandson and the fact that I can't physically run. :D

Many of the Disease Modifying Drugs (i.e., Avonex, Betaseron, etc) list depression as a possible side effect. Insidious depression about MS is common, too. As if MS isn't depressing enough, when you add other major life changes or someone else's issues, bam! Running away seems like a great escape.

Remember that MS also affects the entire family. Sometimes the family takes it harder than the patient and don't know how to cope with the problem. MS families often need support from outside to get some perspective on living with MS.

We cannot feel bad about asking for help.
They cannot feel bad about resenting it sometimes.

I am fortunate that I have a very supportive husband who loves me deeply and is a wonderful caretaker. I do not say all of this to make you feel bad. The photo of you shows you to be an attractive woman and there is no need to live with the loser you are with now!! Get out while you are upward; in otherwords, no wheelchair or cane. I am on a cane around the house and must use a wheelchair out side the home. After 31 years of marriage, my first husband divorced me and I thank my lucky stars that I am not married to him in this condition. 9 months after my divorce, I married my present husband whom I had known 40 some odd years previous. When he found out I was divorced from my mother who he still kept in contact with, he phoned me and we began calling one another. Friendship turned to romance. We married and 3 years later, I was diagnosed with this evil disease. But my sweet husband kept his vows and has hung in through thick and thin.
You are able to care for yourself at this point - get rid of this abusive (whether it be mental or physical) turd (sorry, if I am being a little mean but I CANNOT ABIDE men who are uncaring for their woman)!! Don't put yourself down - my body is disfigured - there are men out there who don't look that great themselves. Join a MS group or other groups and find you someone who truly LOVES YOU for ALL the GOOD in YOU!!!!

Don't be so hard on yourself. Love is always possible. You have the power to end this cycle. Don't remain in a relationship that drains you and makes you feel unloved. Get up and take your life back
