I am certain everyone has had stupid people say stupid things to you. I have had them all too! But here's another one that a lady at our "church" said to me today on the phone. "You have Fibromyalgia or something, don't you?"
I don't know anything about Fibromyalgia, so if anyone has it or knows anyone with it, could you please educate me on the difference between MS and Fibromyalgia? Thank you so much.
Oh yes! @Annint said it .. The "Spoon Theory" is a great way to explain it to others.
I have both, just people, don't think that you are sick. Pray for the lady at Chrurch, she is just being stupid. Look up the spoon theory.
Thank you everyone. Your so right that people don't understand something they don't see. I just tell them, there are many hidden diseases like, diabetes and cancer.
Then they kind of understand.
I guess they think that we should looks somehow scared or deformed like the people that they stare at.They can't understand what they don't see right away.If they knew before spending time now would show them different.I have gotten mad at a person that told but I look good.
