My dr. Suggested that my kids and grand kids
begin taking vitamin D3. Has anyone heard this?
i
Vit D also helps depression during the winter since we dont get enough sun.
I was also told my kid(s) and grandkid(s) have a lower chance of getting MS compared as to my siblings kid(s). MS runs like fire on my moms side of the family so one of us kids was bound to get it!
Thanks Matt.I have PPMS no family history worry about my children and grandchildren.I will suggest it to all
Yes, even the medical profession is starting to recognize the need for vite D. I heard a talk by the head ms doc from Rush Hospital in Chicago advocate vite D at 5000 IUs or more per day.
I Take 5000iu summer 10000iu winter
yes, I would add some Vit D3, you can get it over the counter. Vit D comes from the sun, so I skip the vit
D supplement to my kids in the summer. Also, make sure they are getting the recommended amount of calcium rich foods (milk, cheese, yogurt)3-4 per day, depending on age of child. If they ever have blood work, ask if the will check the vit. D level, but dont do an extra stick.
