I got a letter from ssi and they want me to go see their dr. Has anyone else done this? What was your experience like?
I'm 4 mths in the application process and I don't know the steps. Before this has only been paperwork
I went and saw two of their doctors...........quickly got approved for disability with zero problems proving my eligibility. Using a lawyer would be my last ditch effort.
I had gotten a lawyer due to hearing so many horror stories about approval...he told me that in the final stage of determination...many times SSI will request you be evaluated by one of their doctors...nothing to be concerned with...just be yourself...your symptoms send their severity will speak for you....he warned me cause SSI might have asked me to see their doc....even though I had all sorts of medical notes..two neurologists, cognitive testing, psychological office notes, physiatrist notes, PT notes, and MRIs with new leisons .....
If anything I believe your claim is in it's final stage.....good luck! I was blessed and got my approval this Friday ...
Feel free to reach out...I'd be happy to share what I can about what the lawyer did @A MyMSTeam Member

I am so much worse since that apt it was like over a year ago, now I have balance, speeking issues and tired much more easy, also can't take the heat, just found out it is affecting my eyes but not bad yet. Plus all the things I had before. lol
I will just have to rely on God and what He deams we need.
Yes I had this done about 2 yrs ago still trying to get on disability but I am a lot worse off now then then. It is not bad but do not minamize your situation I have a habit of doing that and that will not help you in the long run.
