Does anyone know of a good diet I could try? I am not very mobile so I cannot exercise. I need to lose about 30 lbs. I have cute out snacks and eat salads for dinner twice a week but I cannot seem to lose any weight.
My husband hasn't said anything about my weight but I hate looking into the mirror and see the weight I have gained.
Thanks for any tips.
Something that help me when I was struggling with mobility and it is cardiac to it is a arrm bike. They sell them at Academy or any sport store didn't have exercise equipment and you can place it on the table and sit while you do it.
Terry Wahls diet is absurd. If one thinks they can stick with it then I send my most positive vibes, but I wont do it as it is too unrealistic for ME (I.E. eatting SARDINES for breakfast). HOWEVER, it was MY understanding that AnnAnderson was asking us for tips on a good weight loss diet. I would think that falls into more of a dietitian realm. Only advice I can give you Ann, is to follow the AHA diet (I was told about 7 yrs ago that even though it is a cardiac based diet, it is still good for people with MS)
Dr. Terry Wahls has a book on nutrition, she is also an MS patient. If you google CCSVI DIET there is a lot of good recipes.
No offense but I've never at and I know on the website of the national multiple sclerosis society they do have some tips for diet.
In 2012 I started a juice fast. Lost from 350 to 165 in 10 months. Started running. I haven't had a relapse since I started juicing and later switched to a plant based diet.
