I'm not an MS patient but a spouse of an MS patient who has "chronic" MS (i.e. the best to hope for is "status quo" or "get worse slow". She is now at age 52 a permanent resident of the local nursing home and is a paraplegic Was hoping to find support/fellowship groups for us spouses/caregivers of MS patients--especially in the Kansas City or Columbia Missouri areas
Curious, what is her quadraplegia cause? (I do not mean to offend).
Have you considered looking at other places for support? Such as other diseases where Caregivers meet up for support. I.E. other disease processes, a church/community outreach center/hospital affiliations
