I have been on Betaseron since the waiting list in 1991. It took almost 2years but it really helped and still does. I have only had one exacerbation that was in early '91. It is a good drug.

I think it's a good drug . I went through a little depression when I did not know what depression was . or I might still be on it . first couple weeks are tough and check out side effects.

I am on BetaSeron currently, shot every other day.

I've been on Betaseron for the last year and you just reminded me to do my injection! I've definitely noticed a difference in how often I have exacerbations and how severe they are. My Neuro recommended Betaseron because of my recurrent optic neuritis and subsequent blindness in my left eye. It's one of those meds that's been around a really long time, has a lot of short and long term studies behind it and I trusted her opinion...so I went with it. I could do without the injection site reactions, but that's the nature of the injectable beast I guess!
