Bottoms of feet only at the pads have intense nerve type but bone feeling like pain. Onset is intense and fast. Best described as really small sharp warming pebbles.

I take Gabapentin (Neurotin), for Fibromyalgia. My feet get so bad sometimes it's painful & my toes freeze in bizzare ways. At my last MS appointment, the physical therapist showed me 2 exercises;
Put a towel down & w/your foot on it, try to scrunch your toes to grab the towel.
2ND; use a golf ball & roll it under your foot.
These are sipped to make your foot & toe muscles stronger so the strange, painful spasms don't happen as much or not at all. I hope I was helpful.

Just got back from my Neuro about my feet. I definitely am having severe spasticity in my outer three toes, left foot. I will be starting a prednisone dosepak to see if we can calm things down. As far as my cold/hot feet syndrome, I am going to have a lower extremity vascular MRA study done and we will take things from there. I suspect I may have Seondary Raynaud's Phenomenon. Has anyone here been diagnosed with Raynaud's?

I tried Gabapentin, the only thing it did for me was make me crave sweets. Crave is not an adequate description. It was like sweets were crack for me, had to have them, would leave home in a blizzard at midnight, in -20 degree temps to get my fix. It was crazy, I was out of control. I gained 25lbs in 2 months..
