My neuro said both meds will cause weight loss...he decreased my gabapentin to see if it helps. We'll see !!

I was on Amitriptiline for resless legs and gained excessive weight. This was then replaced with Gabapentin which maintained the weight I had gained. Subsquently it has not increased and is stable on Gabapentin.

I've done some research and there are a lot of people who experience weight gain from both. And, lucky me, I guess I'm one of them...lol. I'll research alternative treatments and talk to my neuro tomorrow. I may just have to suck it up to stay healthy.
