Also how do you know what your feeling is related to MS or not?
Yes. I haven't had one since 2008. My symptoms are still here and my fatigue is only getting worse...
Oh, relationship between MS or not...
Rule of thumb is if it last more than 24 hours, then call your neurologist. Not saying this means it is one, but it's always safe. Also if it's a new symptom. Not an old one.
I always assume everything is my MS until proven otherwise. I recently had a sharp pain behind my knee and knew that it was something new. I had at least 4 tests until I had an MRI of my knee and found out that I have a torn miniscus. I see a nutritionist for years and together with prescription meds, I have been managing my MS quite well. Recently started Pilates and love it. Exercise is great as much as you can do it. :) Ricki
Thank you everyone... This has been helpful... I was diagnosed 2 years ago and I'm still trying to figure it out...
I rarely tell my neuro anything. If something really bothers me I'll mention it. But I am doing well, and he tells me that. If I mention something ike my OAB he'll tell me that I should tell my GYN or internist. He says it isn't his expertise! I don't find much in the way of a team approach in my city. Now hypothetically I should happen to I get up and suddenly can't walk, then I'd call him. Or if I lose my eyesight, which hasn't happened so far, then I would call him. I have little twitches hear and then, but I don't bother him with that. My husband has those, and I think a lot of non MS people have a twitch or tingling now and then. I'm just not one who calls my doctor for small things that I am pretty sure he can't do anything about.
