Do any of my fellow Msers have really bad mood swings at times?

Most definitely! It's like I'm watching from the inside telling myself to calm down, but I can't.

I don't want to sound smart-alecky, so I apologize if this does; Does the brain affect mood? Yes. Does MS damage the brain? Yes. If you get the "right" damage in the the "right" location, you get the corresponding symptom. Everything controlled by the brain (personality, intelligence, mobility, sensation, mood...) is "fair game" for this illness. That being said, not everything that goes wrong in the health and life of an MS patient is a result of MS. (and by "right", I mean "wrong"... and by "fair game", I mean unfair!!!!)

I hate to confirm it, but Women are NOT the only ones with Mood Swings... I have been known to be in a Mood a few times myself. My Wife is the only one in life that can bring me out of it, sometimes. So don't feel alone; it comes and goes for US all in MS land. Peace be with You.
