My MS has limited my mobility in both legs and I have to use a walker. Now it is affecting my left hand with numbness and pain and I can only lean on the walker with my left hand otherwise the pain is excruciating. I'm pretty tough but this is really affecting my life and job right now. Any tips for dealing with this would be greatly appreciated.

He advised steroids but I won't do them. Last time I did steroids I gained - NO LIE - 100 lbs. in 10 days and I still haven't lost them. It was a steroid called Acthar - AVOID it like the plague .... But I thank you all for your advice, help and support

Have you talked with your neuro about it. He or she may have some advice for the long term. Nothing will make it go away instantly, though intravenous steroids will clear it up faster than anything else that I know about. Talk to your doctor about the problem -- that's my best advice, I think.
