my insurance denied my refill on the betaseron that I have been taking since 2009, because they said it was expensive. They want me to use a cheaper brand. Can anyone tell me what medication would work ?
Sorry for the late response but you do have a few avenues if you have not explored them already...
1. Get approval by having your doctor send a letter stating the medication is medically necessary
2. Contact the drug company and see if they have any plans that can help with the co payment
3. Not all medications work for all. what maybe good form me,well may not be for you. This is always a trial and error type of illness and have to try various options to see what will be beneficial for you.

Did you have any success in regards to obtaining your medication. I did forget but someone did mention, to try to get it from the Manufacturing company. Sometimes they have programs that will assist in getting it for free :). Good Luck
