My first at home cathing I was so nervous I forget to aim the end of the catheter into the toilet and pee'd all over the bathroom floor.

I've been to one. they give you a specimen cup, and after that you get the exam table, sort of like a ob/gyn visit only to check your bladder. than I got an ultra/sound of my bladder. the dr gave me pills to make me use the bathroom called urea chlorine. he said to not gain weight in my stomach so that if the pills stopped working then I would have to start doing self cauterization. And a big stomach gets in the way of doing this properly. That's how my trip's went. I don't go to one anymore, things got better for me.
