I've been getting a lot of canker sores lately and all at once. I've read there might be some correlation between canker sores and ms. Anyone else have this as a symptom?

Maybe you could make sense of this. I noticed virus 6 may have a connection to ms in studies, but I've also been told by my neurologist that ebv, virus 4, may have also be connected. I might add that I have ppms and tested positive in the past for ebv, virus 4, where as I have found in another search the link for virus 6 may be related to rrms.
Yes I get this little night mares. Never thought of it as a MS thing.
Yes, I have not been tested. But was given valtrex ( the generic) it does keep them away!!
@A MyMSTeam Member I don't recall ever having mono, but when tested by a doctor who suspected I had chronic fatigue syndrome, he ran an ebv titer on me and it was positive.
@A MyMSTeam Member this is great information. I've seen several other studies linking ebv to ms. I don't think there are any clear answers but it seems there's enough evidence to somehow warrant some sort of connection. I had mono as a teenager. I wonder if this will be researched more.
