Does anyone have any real life, unbiased experience with stem cell therapy? I found a company in San Diego that uses your own Stem cells. My wife is currently in a nursing home simply because I can't lift her anymore. We both have MS. I can still walk (with a walker) but she has lost all mobility. She hasn't even had the ability to hold a fork or feed herself for years. I was doing that for her until we were separated in 2015. Is there a possibility of her regaining some use of her hands or… read more

Please be careful with places in the USA that offer stem cells. It needs to be done with chemo. You will need to go out of the USA. For some reason Dr. Burt in Chicago has had excellent results but it got held back for FDA. It won't be available in the states till 2022. I had it done in Puebla Mexico by Dr. Ruiz. Dr. Federenko in Moscow, Russia is also doing it. There's a few more centers like Germany, Italy, Spain, Philippines, Israel, India etc. India is $30,000, Russia is $49,000. Mexico is $54,500, Israel is $125,000. The goal of HSCT is to stop the progression. All the symptom reversal is a bonus.

If the company in San Diego is using what is known as the Adipose therapy be very cautious and do further research. Currently, there are no facilities in the USA that are providing stem cell therapy, especially for PPMS. What I have learned over the past 2 years is that you will need to travel out of the country, and have a minimum of $50,000.00 to spend just for the procedure.

Here is a great source for information regarding HSCT and PPMS specifically.
