What is the feeling difference between the "Normal" fatigue and "MS fatigue"?

It encompasses the whole body, including the brain and it falls like a curtain in an instant. It's like being sleep deprived and narcoleptic and drugged. It's messed up, that's what it is. It messes with concentration, memory, speech, physical coordination, emotions, and connection between the brain and vision and verbal skills and the ability to grasp the simplest ideas. Did I miss anything?

I think when you do a minor job that used to be no problem for you and now you are exhausted from the same chore, that's MS fatigue.

Yes GinaBeth is spot on and what really strikes a cord with me is 'falls like a curtain', that is exactly how ms fatigue descends on me and when it does my body and mind start to shut down. I have to get rest quickly or I'm not able to function. I deal with this type of fatigue/sickness everyday and have to be very careful just doing normal even mildly strenuous activities, frustrating to say the least

I saw a description somewhere that said "imagine wearing a suit made out of concrete for 24/7" and perform all your tasks while in the suit. Most days I feel like I have a concrete block attached to my right leg, while wearing the concrete suit and I have to drag this block around (up the stairs, etc). Wouldn't it be nice to get a vacation from MS symptoms?

'falls like a curtain' is good. Sometimes I think it's like being a bird in a cage and having the cover put over you. Sudden, For me, short rest / deep breathing can restore some energy. Usually a sign that rather more rest is going to be needed pretty soon
