I have a neurologist in Texas and one in NYC. I see the doc in NYC next week to talk to her about LDN. I am taking Gabapentin now but still have bad heaviness in my legs, arms, etc. Probably also depressed b/c I cannot work out anymore. I am hoping the doc in NYC agrees that I should try it and see what happens. I have read that it can have a big impact and make people feel better mentally and physically. My insurance company has already told me that they won't pay for it - - the good thing it that it is relatively inexpensive, so I will pay for it myself.
Yes my last client took it..it's made a HUGE difference in the way he felt, his mobility was better, many great things I've seen it do in him...he's89 and moves around as if he's50.
@A MyMSTeam Member. It's an opiate antagonist. Used to reverse sedation in OR. Now being used for pain at specific doses, addiction help, etc.
Both actually. However it was originally created to get people off alcohol. Now it's used for a wide variety of things. Look it up it'll tell u more,
