Hi, MS team! I have been considering purchasing a tens unit to use to try to help some of my muscle spasms and improve my gate my walking. But, I was wondering if anyone has any luck using them? Also, what would be a good brand to get? Thank you

I have t.e.n.s. units. I use them on my shoulders, knees, legs, and back. They do help relieve some of the muscle spasms and pain. Good Luck.

Get a RX from your doctor and it should be covered under your medical insurance DME (durable medical equipment) then go to a medical supply distributor and buy the one that is easiest for you to use and obtain replacement parts.

I have one too.... I use it all over the place anywhere that's stiff or painful! Mostly in the small of my back, but on stiff shoulders, knees etc..... It's a small device from Snowden Healthcare (UK) but they will keep phoning trying to flog you all kinds of other stuff! It was under £200 can't quite remember how much - maybe £165? I'm sure they're all similar and maybe you can get them cheaper on the Internet? I wouldn't be without it! Xxxx
