Many people have receive a benefit from this treatment. I unfortunately did not. I think the damage was to extensive to repair it all. The staff and the Dr. himself are wonderful people to be in their trusted hands. Don't let anyone give you a hard time for trying. It may help but the recommendation is likely right. Is it worth a try? Can you not try this out to help you? We unfortunately try everything to help the symptoms. The monster is ruthless and affects everyone differently. We all hate MS.
I had it done in February at his Clinic. I know all about it. I even had the mesenchymyl stem Cell treatment by his people at the same toime. All the nurses know and like me cause I gave them pink John Deere Hats and Dr Arata a Blue one. The girls sent me a thankyou photo of them all wearing their hats. Mention my name and the staff all kmows me.
I had a baby stem cells injection from a baby's ambilacal cord and I was a paraplegic for 5 years and now I walk going on 5 years now didn't kill my immune system just a injection in my spinal cord and it worked thank God because I will never give up I will be my own ginnie pig with what I choose to do to my body tryed to many treatments they gave me and got worse I have progressive secondary multiple sclerosis and I will never quit trying to find a cure for us π
@A MyMSTeam Member Did the TVAM and stem cell help you? I consulted with Dr. Arata but he did not feel I was a good candidate because of my level of disability. He said if my goal is to walk again, this probably won't help.
@A MyMSTeam Member thank you! I'm now even more confused :) sounds like an older procedure that is deemed controversial
