Strange Sensations

A MyMSTeam Member asked a question πŸ’

I have had some strange sensations happening this week. I get a pinching like feeling in my right thigh that then radiates pain. Also getting floaty, tingling feelings in my arms. I don't know how else to describe this. Is this common, or am I losing my mind again?

I have strange sensations also. Sometimes it's a feeling like the one you get when your foot falls asleep and the when it starts to "wake up", that weird tickle sensation(hard to explain) in my right leg(makes walking fun) and then sometimes a cold pain(like you maybe kmason?) in random spots.
My brain is like a box of chocolates, I never know how I'm gonna feel. 😊

@A MyMSTeam Member, no you,re not losing your mind. The first Neuro I saw back in 1982 (before you were born and I was undiagnosed for another 18 yrs.) told me; if it is ms you are going to experience more strange sensations than imaginable. Since then I' ve had everything from electrical shocks on my ears, bugs crawling in or around my ear, bugs in my hair, vibrations in my core body, restless arm sensation going all over me at times(that will drive you nuts), burning and/or cold spots, freezing cold hand and foot while breaking out in sweat, spasms in foot(toes try to draw up and touch my knee or exact opposite), pain of all descriptions(have intrathical pump gives me Morphine, Lioresal, Bupivicaine). Other than that I feel pretty good for the condition I'm in. Most of these things come from ms lesions on my spinal cord, Cervical spine.

This, for me is very common. The pintching you are talking about is a nerve thing I think. For me its a ice pick pain that radiates down both my legs The floaty feeling I also get but not sure why. I hope this helps a little. Its all part of having MS
