Anyone experience no feeling on a small area of their leg? Mine is on the side of my left leg, about 4" long and about 2" wide where in that area I have absolutely no feeling. I told my Neuro about it and he was "Oh, let see about another MRI and lumbar puncture." Ugh. Has anyone tried accupuncture? Is this another relapse? I am scared. ๐
I had numb feelings in both my thighs at the same place for years. I blew it of as maybe a pinched nerve. Then one day years later my whole right side and both hands and feet went numb. I blew it off again thinking it was just a pinched nerve since I've always hit the weights pretty hard. But when I got foot drag after two weeks I finally went to the doctor. Well after blood work and lumbar puncture, boom MS. So if you already have been diagnosed with MS and already had a lumbar puncuture why would you need another one? Question that.
Tell me what a lumbar puncture is going to do? Haven't you already had one to be diagnosed for your MS? How long has it been like that? I've been dealing with loss of feeling in extremities since April 14, 2010 and in some parts it comes and goes but my left arm still to this day remains sensory free, I used to think it was numb but over the years decided it was something different.

I have spascity in my feet and spasms in my left leg no numbness Diagnosed Nov 2010 going strong
In addition to my previous post have you ever had a Cervical Spine MRI both with and without Gadolinium contrast ? If not than if it were me, I'd being asking my neuro as to why not a Cervical Spine MRI as lesions in the Central Nervous System can cause numbness and tingling in the legs.
