Had anyone used CBD oil drops under the tongue? If so how did it help you or not? What strength/dosage did you find helpful? Did it help with walking?
No I was considering that but I have the Sativex cannabis oil, have it prescribed by my neurologist each time and spray on your tongue which by the way is disgusting but it's helped a lot with my leg spasms, I have it free as don't pay for prescriptions in South Wales, UK so not sure if you have to pay for it.
Yep, I use it and it's been a really positive thing for me. Definitely helps with pain, inflammation, anxiety & stress, and helps me sleep solidly all night long (really important since we do our healing while we sleep!).
You can get CBD oil with no THC, or you can get different amounts of THC, from very mild, to extreme. If you research online or have a DR who is knowledgable about this topic, you'll learn that some THC helps activate the CBD to work to its fullest potential. As a result, I take CBD with no THC in the morning, and then I take CBD with some THC at night. If you live somewhere where medicinal cannabis is still illegal, the CBD with no THC will still help (or seems to for most people), but if you live somewhere where you can get some with at least a little THC, most people reap more benefits with that. We have a great place here called Elemental Wellness Center where they offer 1:1 consultations to talk with someone about your symptoms and they will recommend products that are a good match. They also offer free massages, Reiki, Yoga, and gardening classes (in case you prefer smoking & want to grow your own, but I was told that the act of smoking would negate some of the DMT's benefits, hence I use the edibles instead).
CBD oil is now available here in many different types of products. The sublingual oils and tinctures kick in fastest, but there are also chocolates, hard candies, beverages, etc that work just as well in about 1.5-2 hours. Oh, and they have flavored tinctures (I love the berry one!) if you don't like the taste.
CBD oil is also great for cancers and the results are somewhat more easily measured there. It has helped to stabilize my family member's PSA levels. Definitely a promising move in the right direction that we're moving toward more folks having access to this medication!
There are a lot of companies selling CBD products on the internet, and you never know what the quality actually is. I did a lot of research and investigation and ended up purchasing from www.cwhemp.com
They are one of the most trusted manufacturers, and have a wealth of information about CBD on their website.
I am taking their 35mg capsules.
The tinctures never really helped me. What helped me with walking was letting my legs rest at night with a indica strain vaped before bed. The strain I used is called deep purple here, but don't rely on the name they're different everywhere. The vape is odorless too.
Thanks for info @A MyMSTeam Member I will give this a try x
