I'm looking for an antidepressant that does double duty. Cymbalta is supposed to help with neuropathic pain while Wellbutrin can help with fatigue. What are your experiences with these drugs? Give me the good, the bad and the ugly.

Tried both. Cymbalta made me very nauseous, so bad i was scared to move! I think it may be a reaction to Avonex but not trying that again!
Wellbutrin took the edge off, sure, but made me eat and sleepy at times. I dont take anything now.

Cymbalta did nothing for my pain. I was very disappointed. Wellbutrin made me hyper and I had a seizure from taking it. It's supposed to help you quit smoking, too. Should be helpful if you have fatigue, too.

I have never heard of Wellbutrin for fatigue, I took it for years for depression.

I take elavil (pain/depression), Zoloft and cymbalta. Don't know if I would have survived without these. Started with the elavil in 1991 and Zoloft and cymbalta were added through the years.

I took the Wellbutrin for a year and I saw no difference in fatigue levels so I quit taking it
