I'm on Avonex and a year ago my Neuro mentioned Plegridy as a new option for me. I did my due diligence on the drug and we discussed it again 6 months ago. He advised that he was no longer comfortable transitioning me to the drug.

@A MyMSTeam Member I'm on Plegridy and JC+. It is an interferon and relatively new so I don't know if it will be recommended. I started it 3 months ago as my first DMT. The biweekly injection fits my current lifestyle, but it is too early to really know how well it works for me.

with Plegridy is there a risk for PML? i want to mention to my mothers doctor that i dont want here on Tysabri .. but didnt know if there was anything else for my mother as she has been on most DMD that they offer with Tysabri being the last one she has tried as she is afraid of the PML risk she is also JC postive... so i am just trying to get some ammo so i can talk to her doctor.. anyone?
