I had a really bad episode in April. The strength "drained" out and I feel, hard. My question is, since then I haven't had any strength in my legs. They still feel very weak. could one episode last this long, or could it be something else? I see my Dr. on the 31st, but I'd like to hear from others. Blessings Love and Prayers.
I would call my doc on this one. Did you receive steroid treatment for this episode? When did you last have an MRI? I have had increasing right side weakness since last summer. But since last summer, I have not fallen. Trading one evil for another..lol I will pray for you
Yes some episodes last longer than others. It just all depends. Mine being going on since march.
Yes exasperations can last awhile do things slowly you'll get there have faith
Yes, some episodes take longer to get over. It just depends on who you are. Each attack I had, I was in the hosp for up to a week. And still needed help when I got out. Having these attacks are a 1,2 punch and an uppercut to your system. Bouncing back does take time. And you may not get all your strength back right away. Pt is a great idea. I TRY to walk when my fatigue doesnt have me in a grip.
Are you having any PT at home or op . after a prolonged attack of MS you may need it .I would ask for an earlier appointment if not . Sometimes you need another person to help and support you and report to Dr. any problems ongoing.
