My doctor has recommended a chance in treatment from an injection to either tysabri or tecfidera. Anybody have any experience with either of these, like side effects or life changing problems. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have been using Tecfidera for over a year and I've have no issues. My side effects include flushing which can be uncomfortable, but is typically nonexistent when I take it with food. I also experience gas, which OTC meds can help with and altering foods you eats before taking the medicine. Tbh side effects have practically disappeared now that I've been on it for a long time.

Don't take those if you test positive for JCV You run a higher risk of PML.

I personally didn't like Tecfidera. I experienced flushing, which was so uncomfortable. It felt like a million bee stings. Everyone is so different though when it comes to medication. You could always give it a try and if it doesn't work switch to something else.
