Has everyone tried drinking turmeric water or using turmeric in their diet? I watched a video about the many benefits of this spice and I want to see if it works.

Turmeric is suppose to be really good, But you need to add pepper to it, to get the most out of it. Our bodies aren't able to digest turmeric very well, but research showed if you grind up whole peppercorns and into the turmeric your body uses the pepper to digest the turmeric. I try to add turmeric and pepper into my sauces for dinner and also add them into my eggs for breakfast.

Yes! I drink both turmeric and pau d'arco unsweetened teas - they are both anti-inflammatory. I also sometimes take turmeric capsules (especially when I travel and can't easily take my tea) and try to add turmeric to food. I find the easiest for me it to just grate a small piece of fresh turmeric into whatever I'm cooking. Not certain if it's that that is helping me or the other changes I've made, but I have been feeling pretty good lately. SO...I figure it can't hurt! :-)
