What type of pain and where do you feel it?

If anyone wants to try tia chi you can go to youtube and look for Andrew Plitt or Ancient Wisdom. He does some stuff for balance and meditation that are really great and help me a lot. His tutorials are done very well.

I have pain and stiffness in my whole body. My hips really hurt as well as my knees are beginning to also. The bottoms of my feet hurt when I walk. I also gained about 15 lbs in 2 days. I am not active. I hate to exercise, but I know I have to. Most of the time though, I am too fatigued to do much of anything. Sometimes I sit and wonder if this lack of energy is all in my head or real. I feel so guilty and ashamed because I used to be a hard worker-never a "lazy" person. My home used to be very clean (I'm on the anal side! lol) so it really is hard to see all of the things that need to be done. When I do have some energy, I take full advantage of it because I don't know when it will hit me again. then I over-do and an exhausted. I have pain everyday, and I have learned to live with it to a point. I agree about he doctors....they don't believe you or help you!! I have been having a lot of trouble with shoulder pain too. I'm 55, but I'm not OLD, I think young and act young when I'm having a good day!! Does anyone suffer from severe nausea or have gastroparesis? I also use medical cannibus, but it is for the nausea. I get itchy at night on my upper body-head, shoulders, neck, etc.

Anyway, MS has pretty much ruined my life, and my marriage is in big trouble. But I fight it mentally big time, and that is what keeps me going.

I know the topic is pain, and sometimes it is so bad I want to die. I'm sure you can relate.

I'm gonna keep on going though. I'm not giving up on myself even though my family and friends have disowned me. I think it is for the best. I am an artist, and I plan on focusing on it like never before!! Keep on truckin' even though, at times, you come to a complete halt that is out of your control but NOT your fault!!

@A MyMSTeam Member I'm so sorry you're going through that! I had the crazy itching part for about 8 months. Absolutely horrendous! For me it turned out that it was a food sensitivity - I did an elimination diet and found a few trigger foods that had previously come back clean on allergy panel. Since you use medicinal cannabis at times, have you considered CBD oil? I know that helped me a TON with all of my muscle pains - AND now I sleep like a baby which I could not do at all previously. I take a heavy dose of CBD (with no THC) in the morning so I can function, and then take both at night. I used to also really struggle with fatigue too - but my integrated medicine DR (who has MS herself) introduced me to the MITO food plan (from functional medicine, available free online) that focuses on feeding mitochondria to battle fatigue. I can really tell the difference when I deviate off plan. Hope you find some solutions very soon! XX

@kimmy70, Thank you for this question. I am not sure about anyone else, but this was the first time I have been able to release all my ailments at one time. I usually have to priortize to the most annoying to my family and my doctors because I have found that people with no pain stop listening to you after the second issue anyway.

My right leg, upper back, neck and shoulders. The leg is a dull ache but the other is sharp and makes taking a deep breath difficult. I take Gabapentin which helps tremendously and yoga is my go to for trying to reign it in. Be well!
