A few of my team members have fallen off. Any idea how this could have happened?
Sorry not me related π
I am still here......just having a difficult time transitioning to being 'handicapped '.....i am used to doing everything myself so depepending on others is not my strong point....i am working on it :) reading comments helps
I've fallen off a bit after my relapse and hospital stay have felt under the weather and struggling with my condition, mri in august showed no new lesions kinda thought with disease modifying drug that was it but have been hit hard with relapse ,at minute struggling with pain and mobility and never felt right after high dose steroids problems with stomach, weight gain now querying diabetes disheartened especially as I lost stone and a half just before all back on so now having to lose it while struggling to do exercise also do not think i can go back and do my job as a elderly care nursing sister on a very busy ward but unsure what i want/can do has hit confidence also thinking about finances and getting to grips with being disabled at present due to ms and the fatigue but ive been low before , seeing occ health doctor and ms nurse next week so hopefully things will turn for the better. Thanks for listening im sorry for my rant but it gets it off my chest and out in the open so I can deal with it x
Hi @A MyMSTeam Member same here! I am still not used to this at all . . . . I like this site it helps me a lot and everyone is so nice
For all of you who might think a wheelchair is for old people..... you can get lots of exercise walking the chair with your feet, and pushing the wheels with your arms. Much more than baby-stepping to keep from falling! I walk inside the house, but I walk or push my wheelchair every time I go outside the house. A wheelchair can KEEP YOU SAFE AND HEALTHY. Don't look at it as a crutch or bad thing.
@A MyMSTeam Member, sorry my friend, I'm not falling off I'm staying put!xxx
