I was on tysabri before I was switched to Tecfidera. I had to wait three months before I could start Tecfidera.

You will need a 6 month washout period so the one old drug can get completely out of your body before you start the new medicine. Discuss the medicine change and listen to his advice. Also I will say if you're not happy with one neurologist you have the right to change neurologists till you find one that you can trust and do the treatment he suggest. Never stop any medicine without first consulting your dr.
